Breastfeeding is a crucial factor in ensuring the survival of infants so that they can grow and develop optimally. Breastfeeding is the process of providing nutritional intake to infants through breast milk (ASI) directly from the breast. ASI contains substances that play a role in protecting infants from various types of infections, including those caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. Breastfeeding techniques are methods applied by mothers to provide ASI to meet their infants' nutritional needs. Breastfeeding techniques are a way of providing ASI to infants by correctly positioning the mother and baby's bodies. To achieve successful breastfeeding, knowledge of breastfeeding techniques is needed. Many mothers who do not understand the correct breastfeeding techniques often face various obstacles, such as sore nipples, breast milk that does not come out smoothly, and babies who are reluctant to breastfeed. This causes difficulties for mothers in the breastfeeding process. Through counseling on breastfeeding techniques, it is hoped that mothers can gain a better understanding to overcome these problems. This community service activity aims to provide education to breastfeeding mothers regarding the correct breastfeeding position. This is implemented using counseling and mentoring methods, which are specifically aimed at breastfeeding mothers. This method aims to improve mothers' understanding and skills in optimal breastfeeding.
