Comparison Of Social Wellbeing Of Elderly Who Live In Nursing Homes And The Community In 2020
Abstract
Elderly population in the world reaches 7%. This must be balanced with fulfillment of welfare of the elderly. Social aspect needs to be considered and influenced by place of residence. Elderly who live in BPSTW and community have various backgrounds, so it’s necesssary to know its difference. Statistical test result shows there is significant differences in social well being of elderly who are living in BPSTW Abiyoso Unit and Terban Village Yogyakarta (p value < α or 0,000<0,05) with a significance level of 5% (0,05). The conclusion of this research there is a significant difference in social well being of elderly who are living in BPSTW Abiyoso Unit and at home in Terban Village Yogyakarta in 2020.
